仪器校正时，操作者的目视高度必须与仪器表盘垂直，距表盘40Cm左右，任何粗心地操作，都将影响校正结果的准确性。

（一）容器校正

1、量钵容积校正测定充满量钵的水重W称量精度为水重的0.1%。用台称称量量钵和玻璃板合重。将水注满量钵，用玻璃板沿量钵顶平推，赶走气泡。使钵内盛满水而玻璃板下面无气泡。擦干量钵外部水份并称重，两次重量相减所得的水重，除以该温度下水的比重，即为量钵容积。

       2、校正容器的校正

将校正容器置于水平台面上，向内注水，当水面达到三角形堰口下垂直隙缝底面时为止（观测时要考虑水的表面张力使水面下凹的影响）。精确的测定校正容器的水重U，称量       精度为水重的0.1%。
